About Odds Plot

Odds Plot is a service that tracks how bookmaker odds for football matches change over time, and presents that movement as clear, readable charts. We don't accept bets and we're not a bookmaker — this is purely an informational tool for anyone who wants to understand the market more deeply than a single "current odds" snapshot.

Why track odds movement, not just the current value?

Bookmakers constantly adjust odds — based on incoming bets, squad news, key player injuries, weather conditions, and more. An odds value that was 2.10 in the morning and drops to 1.75 an hour before kickoff tells you something meaningful about where the market is heading, even if you've never watched this team play. A sharp move in one direction often (not always) reflects information that hasn't reached the news yet.

What "deviation" means

On the Top Deviations page, we calculate the percentage change from the first recorded odds value to the most recent one. For example, if the home win odds started at 1.50 and now sit at 2.10, that's a +40% deviation — the market has become significantly less confident in a home win than it initially was. Matches with large deviations (over 80% in either direction) get their own dedicated section — that's usually where something unusual is happening.

Markets we track

Where the data comes from

Odds are collected automatically from two independent bookmaker sources (BetKing and 1xBet) every few minutes while a match is open for betting. This lets you compare how differently two bookmakers price the same match, and see the full movement history rather than just a single "right now" snapshot.

Important context

Odds movement is a market signal, not a guarantee of the outcome. Bookmakers get things wrong too, and some moves are purely technical (limit rebalancing between markets, arbitrage, etc.) rather than genuine information about the match. We show the data as we see it, with no betting recommendations of any kind — every decision is yours to make. For more detail, see our Terms of Use.

OddsPlot.com charts bookmaker odds and publishes line analytics for football. We monitor odds changes across more than 1000 football leagues, cups and tournaments (such as LaLiga), showing how the line shifts before kickoff. For matches already in play or finished, the chart stops at the closing line — not live in-play odds. For every match we plot the movement of 1X2 odds, plus the "both teams to score" and "over/under 2.5" markets, comparing two bookmakers side by side. Our Top Deviations section highlights matches with the most noticeable odds swings - often a sign of team news or other factors the market has already priced in.
